While walking a dog in the woods near the small town of Oyster Bay, on the Southern Oregon Coast, Maggie Lawson discovers a human skull. A homicide detective on leave from LAPD, Lawson planned on a relaxing for a few weeks, house and dog sitting for her cousin.
